In January of 1997
my long time friend and former coworker Lucy, who
for many years, was the recipient of my Pound Cake
on her birthday and during the holidays, once said
to me, “this is a gift”! Not realizing
the impact of her inspiration I continued gifting
my cakes to friends and for other functions. When
one day another friend suggested I start selling
my cake to a local coffee stand. This was the beginning
of St. Rita’s Cake’s. Now after a lifetime
of gifting family and friends with the good and
experimental results of baking, St. Rita’s
is available to you!
The last seven years have provided
a great learning time for the foundation of St.
Rita’s offering baked breads, loaves and pound
cakes made from scratch with fresh ingredients baked
upon order. Your order can be picked up at the convenience
of both parties or a point of meeting can be discussed
upon placing your order (fees applied). Shipping
is available and subject to current rates and point
of destination.
